Congratulations to Wendy Brock and Dexter Anderson for winning the Sandra Campbell memorial trophy at the Keg & Barrel last night by beating Steve Tandy and Brendon Collins in the final.
In an exiting finish the teams were level in legs and scores with Wendy and Dexter checking out to take the trophy.
This week sees the first leg of the pool cup final between Crazy Spoon Invincibles against Alati playing at Crazy Spoon. The second leg will take place at Alati 21st May.
In the latest round of Division One matches in the Paphos Pool League, several teams showcased their skills with notable victories and performances. "Alati" triumphed over "Alexanders Bar" with a scoreline of (1-9) - (4-12), securing the win. Key players for Alati included Dave McKibben and Kris Price, each with two wins. Despite the loss, Alexanders Bar had Nigel Beasley, Scott Ferguson, and Stuart Birnie each contributing a win to their team's effort. This result saw Alexanders Bar drop one position in the standings, moving from 6th to 7th, while Alati maintained their 2nd place position.
"Chalkies Deltas" claimed victory against "Renegades." with a score of (4-11) - (1-10). Steve Welsh was instrumental for Chalkies Deltas, securing two wins. The standings remained unchanged for both teams, with Chalkies Deltas holding onto 4th place and Renegades. remaining in 3rd.
The "Crazy Spoon Invincibles" continued their dominant form, defeating "Queen Vic" with a decisive (4-14) - (0-0) victory, further solidifying their position at the top of the standings. The Invincibles increased their score for to 60, maintaining their 1st place standing.
In another match, "Godfather" emerged victorious over "Mikeys" with a score of (4-16) - (1-5). Darren Jones and Andy Hunt both delivered strong performances with two wins each, helping Godfather climb two places in the standings from 8th to 6th. Mikeys, despite the loss, moved up one place to 10th.
"PETSAS" overcame "Crazy Spoon Titans" with a score of (4-16) - (1-5). Dimitris Dimitriou and Mark Farnsworth each secured two wins for PETSAS, ensuring their team maintained their 5th place position in the standings.
The match between "Haris Bar" and "BYE" ended in a draw with no scores recorded, keeping Haris Bar in 8th place. Meanwhile, "Crazy Spoon Titans" remained in 9th place despite their loss to PETSAS.
Overall, the standings saw some movement, particularly with Godfather and Mikeys improving their positions, while Alexanders Bar and Queen Vic experienced slight declines. The Crazy Spoon Invincibles continue to lead the division with a strong performance

The Paphos Pub Leagues' Division One matches on 5 March 2026 delivered some intense competition. In a decisive victory, Queen Vic triumphed over Achellia Tavern with a score of (1-9) - (4-12). Notable performances came from Queen Vic's Richard Slack and Anton Darby, each securing two wins. Despite the loss, Royston Georgiou from Achellia Tavern managed two wins.
Crazy Spoon Titans secured a victory against Chalkies Deltas with a score of (4-13) - (1-8). David Metcalf was instrumental for the Titans, contributing two wins. Chalkies Deltas saw strong performances from Noel Butigieg, who also claimed two wins.
Crazy Spoon Invincibles maintained their top position in the standings with a commanding win over Godfather, scoring (1-4) - (4-17). Keith Trivass, Stefan Mazrocis, and Jon Buckham each delivered two wins for the Invincibles, solidifying their dominance in the league.
Alexanders Bar emerged victorious against Haris Bar with a score of (1-10) - (4-11). Phil Brown and Sandy Brown each contributed two wins to Alexanders Bar's success. Despite the loss, Haris Bar's Ray Haslam and Steve Wells each managed a win.
In another match, Renegades defeated Mikeys with a score of (1-3) - (4-10). Euan Linn and Chris Dyble were standout performers, each securing two wins for Renegades. Mikeys' Vivian Lillingston was the sole winner for her team.
Alati claimed victory over Petsas with a score of (1-9) - (4-12). Billy Bracken and Kris Price were key players for Alati, each earning two wins. Petsas' effort was highlighted by Mark Farnsworth, who secured one win.
The standings in Division One remained unchanged after these matches. Crazy Spoon Invincibles continue to lead the division, followed closely by Alati and Renegades. Despite their efforts, no team experienced a position change in the standings.

THEY ARE JOINED BY JAMES & KEITH,SEB & SEAN, BILLY & VALENTIN, MARK & JAMES AND A BYE IN THE LOSERS SECTION DRAW, AFTER THEY LOST IN THE WINNERS SECTION, WHERE WE WILL LOSE THREE OF THESE DOUBLE,SHOULD BE FOUR BUT WE HAVE A BYE, AS THEY SHALL HAVE LOST TWO GAMES.
NEXT TIME A DRAW WILL TAKE PLACE TO DECIDE THE ORDER OF PLAY FOR BOTH WINNERS AND LOSERS WHERE WILL LOSE FOUR MORE DOUBLES.
THE COMPETITION IS GOOD AS IT GIVES THE CHANCE OF A TEAM LOSING THEIR FIRST GAME TO PROGRESS FROM THE LOSERS SIDE OF THE DRAW AND STILL WIN.

Get you cues ready for the start of the Winter pool league which starts 6th November. All fixtures are available here so let's have an enjoyable season. Results, stats and league positions will be added each week.
We are looking for sponsors for an Open competition, with the exception of banned players, which will be held at the Crazy spoon on a Saturday/Sunday in February with an entry fee, to be decided, and all money collected will be distributed to the winners.
Further information will be given when sponsors are found.
